4. To Participate:
a) Become a Registered Participant of the Promotion: Visit nfl.com/fantasy during the Registration Period and complete and submit the Promotion registration form to obtain a User ID and Password from NFL.com. Registration is free. Once you are a registered participant of the Promotion, you may access the Promotion’s Game Page at any time during the Registration and Promotion Period by visiting nfl.com/fantasy and submitting your User ID and Password. Limit one (1) registration per participant and per email address for the duration of the Registration Period. Additional registrations received from any such participant or email address thereafter will be void. The use of script, macro or any other device to automate or subvert the registration process is prohibited and all such registrations will be void. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an participant based on the email address submitted at the time of registration, registration will be deemed from the person named on the applicable registration form (regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the email address from which said registration form was submitted), provided such individual is eligible according to these Official Rules.
b) Pick Your Players: Grand Prize Objective: In order to be eligible for the chance to win a Grand Prize you must select the Perfect Lineup during one (1) of the seventeen (17) Weeks of the 2012 NFL Regular Season as outlined above in the Weekly Scoring Period chart. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “Perfect Lineup” is defined as the best performing player (the player accumulating the most valid fantasy points based on the standard scoring system outlined below) for each of the following eight (8) positions: one (1) quarterback (“QB”); two (2) running backs (“RB”); two (2) wide receivers (“WR”); one (1) tight end (“TE”); one (1) kicker (“K”); and one (1) team defense/special teams (“D/ST”). The selected 2 RBs and 2 WRs do NOT need to be in order of best performers, they simply need to be selected. Weekly Prize Objective: In order to be eligible for the chance to win a Weekly Prize you must select the NFL players and Defense Teams/Special Teams for each Weekly Scoring Period (as defined above) who you believe will collectively accumulate the highest total number of fantasy points during that Weekly Scoring Period.
To Participate: During any Weekly Scoring Period, do all of the following: 1) visit the Promotion Game Page (as directed above), which will feature a player roster, and follow the instructions provided to pick your lineup based on the position structure outlined above which is made up of a total of eight (8) players: one (1) QB; two (2) RBs; two (2) WRs; one (1) TE; one (1) K; and one (1) D/ST. You may select the same player multiple times for different Weekly Scoring Periods throughout the Promotion Period. The players you select for each week will accumulate fantasy points based on the Scoring System below. To be eligible for a Weekly Scoring Period, your player selections must be submitted by the applicable Weekly Scoring Period deadline(s) outlined in the chart above. Note: For NFL players who play more than one position, NFL.com will determine position eligibility. If you select a player for one position but then such player plays another eligible position for that applicable game (e.g. a running back plays wide receiver), his statistics at the new position will count towards your fantasy point total but he will still take up the positional slot of his initial position. c) Player Selection Deadline: The deadline for choosing or modifying your player and position selection for each Weekly Scoring Period is prior to kickoff of the applicable game in which the player(s) is playing, as determined by Sponsor. Therefore, you may revise your selections throughout each Weekly Scoring Period; however, you may not select players who have already started playing during such Weekly Scoring Period. Your last selection that is received by the applicable deadline will be used to tabulate your fantasy points. Selections cannot be modified for any game that is in progress or is already completed. Fantasy points will not be awarded if 1.) a player selection is not made by the applicable deadline, 2.) the selected NFL player(s) does not play in the game for any reason, 3.) the selected NFL player does not perform any of the actions listed below to generate any points in a game, 4.) a game is cancelled for any reason, or 5.) a game is postponed or rescheduled, for any reason, to take place during a subsequent Weekly Scoring Period. All selections must be accepted and acknowledged by the computer servers by the applicable deadline (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to be considered valid, timely, and eligible.
5. Scoring System:
During each Weekly Scoring Period throughout the Promotion Period, you will earn fantasy points based on the statistics accumulated by the NFL players that you have chosen for the applicable Weekly Scoring Period using the following scoring system:
|Offense Statistics (QB, RB, WR, TE, K):||Fantasy Points|
|Rushing or Receiving Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Fumble Recovery Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Passing Touchdown:||4 fantasy points|
|Field Goal Made 0-49 yards:||3 fantasy points|
|Field Goal Made 50+ yards:||5 fantasy points|
|Passing, Rushing or Receiving Two-Point Conversion:||2 fantasy points|
|Rushing or Receiving:||1 fantasy point per 10 yards|
|Passing:||1 fantasy point per 25 yards|
|Extra Point:||1 fantasy point|
|Fumble Lost:||-2 fantasy point|
|Interception:||-2 fantasy point|
|Defense Statistics (QB, RB, WR, TE, K):|
|Punt Return Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Kickoff Return Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Fumble Return Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Interception Return Touchdown:||6 fantasy points|
|Interception:||2 fantasy points|
|Fumble Recovery:||2 fantasy points|
|Safety:||2 fantasy points|
|Sack:||1 fantasy points|
|Allowing 0 Points:||10 fantasy points|
|Allowing 1-6 Points:||7 fantasy points|
|Allowing 7-13 Points:||4 fantasy points|
|Allowing 14-20 Points:||1 fantasy points|
|Allowing 21-27 Points:||0 fantasy points|
|Allowing 28-34 Points:||-1 fantasy points|
|Allowing 35+ Points:||-4 fantasy points|
- Fractional Scoring: Fractional scoring will be used to calculate each individual player’s weekly score. For example, a RB who rushes for 106 yards and 1 rushing TD will earn 16.6 points (10.6 for rushing yards, 6.0 for the rushing TD).
- Negative Scoring: Note that it is possible for a player to earn negative points in a single week. Some scoring categories result in negative points and if positive scoring does not offset these earned points by a player, they will end the week with negative points. For offensive players, these categories are interceptions and fumbles lost. For Defense/Special Teams, these categories are allowing 28-34 points or allowing 35+ points.
- Offensive Scoring (QB, RB, WR, TE, K): Individual offensive players (those players started at either QB, RB, WR, TE or K) will earn points for all “Offense Statistic” scoring categories. For example, if a QB throws for 210 net yards and 2 TDs, rushes for 25 yards and 1 TD, and has 18 yards receiving, his total for the week will be 26.7 points (2 passing TDs = 8 points, 1 rushing TD = 6 points, 210 yards passing = 8.4 points, 25 yards rushing = 2.5 points, 18 yards receiving = 1.8 points). Also note that if an offensive player plays on defense and earns a team defense statistic (such as interception), they will not earn those points, as that stat category is attributed to the team defense/special teams unit.
- Fumbles Lost: Note that individual offensive players can earn the Fumble Lost statistic while participating on special teams. For example, if you select Reggie Bush as a RB and he loses a fumble on a punt return, he would earn -2 points for that statistic for the week.
- Kicking Scoring: Kicking statistics (Field Goal, Extra Point) can be scored by any individual offensive player, notably your Kicker (K). A team defense/special teams unit (D/ST) will not earn points for field goals or extra points.
- Defensive/Special Teams Scoring: Your team defense/special teams (D/ST) is awarded points when a team member on the field generates either a touchdown, interception, fumble recovery, safety or sack. Your D/ST is also awarded points for a kickoff or punt return that results in a touchdown. For instance, if your active D/ST is the Dolphins, and Reggie Bush returns a punt for a touchdown, your D/ST (the Dolphins) gets 6 points. Note that a team using Bush as an active RB would NOT be awarded 6 points for that touchdown in this same situation.
- Defensive Points Allowed: Only points allowed by a team defense or special teams unit will count towards the defensive points allowed category. Note that points a defense scores off the offensive turnovers of your team defense do NOT count towards points allowed. For example, consider the situation if you are starting the Panthers Team Defense against the Ravens and Cam Newton throws an interception to Ed Reed, who returns it for a touchdown. Although the Ravens scored 6 points on the play, the Panthers Team Defense did not surrender the touchdown and thus they are not penalized for giving up points. However, any points given up while the special teams unit for the Panthers are on the field (including a field goal or extra point) do count in this total.
6. Winner Selection:
Grand Prize: At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, the lineups selected by each participant for each individual Weekly Scoring Period will be evaluated. Each participant who selects a Perfect Lineup (as defined in section 4b above) during any one (1) of the seventeen (17) Weekly Scoring Periods, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed a potential Grand Prize winner (a maximum of three (3) Grand Prizes will be awarded in this Promotion).
In the event more than three (3) participants selected a Perfect Lineup: the three (3) participants who accrued the highest number of fantasy points over the course of the entire Promotion Period (Weekly Scoring Periods one (1) through seventeen (17) combined) will be determined the potential Grand Prize winners. In the event there is still a tie, the total number of fantasy points accrued by each tied participant starting with Weekly Scoring Period seventeen (17) backwards to Weekly Scoring Period one (1) will be compared to determine the three (3) potential Grand Prize winners.
Weekly Prizes: The participant who accumulates the highest number of valid fantasy points during each Weekly Scoring Period of the Promotion Period (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) will be a potential Weekly Prize winner, for a total of seventeen (17) Weekly Prize winners.
In the event of a tie for a Weekly Prize, the tied participant who’s QB accumulated the highest total fantasy points during the applicable Weekly Scoring Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be determined the applicable Weekly Scoring Period’s potential Weekly Prize winner. If a tie still exists, the tied participant who has accumulated the highest number of valid fantasy points in the order of the following roster slots during the applicable Weekly Scoring Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be determined the applicable Weekly Scoring Period’s potential Weekly Prize winner: RB, WR, TE, DS/T.
If a tie still exists following the above: For Weekly Scoring Period one (1): the tied participant who’s total roster, all players combined, accumulated the highest number of fantasy points during the next subsequent Weekly Scoring Period (Weekly Scoring Period two (2)) will be determined the potential Weekly Prize winner for Weekly Scoring Period one (1). If a tie still exists, the tie will be broken in this same fashion starting with the next subsequent Weekly Scoring Period (Weekly Scoring Period three (3)) through Weekly Scoring Period seventeen (17) if necessary.
For Weekly Scoring Period two (2) through seventeen (17): the tied participant who’s total roster, all players combined, accumulated the highest number of valid fantasy points during the previous Weekly Scoring Period will be determined the applicable Weekly Scoring Period’s potential Weekly Prize winner. If a tie still exists, the tie will be broken in this same fashion starting with the next most recent Weekly Scoring Period, through Weekly Scoring Period one (1) if necessary.
Potential winners will be determined on or about 1/7/13. The tabulation of points and identification of potential winners will be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding on these and all other matters relating to the Promotion. In the event that any game is canceled, suspended (and not resumed) or preempted (and not resumed) for any reason during the Promotion Period, prize will be awarded based on points accumulated for those games that occur as scheduled. By participating, participants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects.

- Option 1: An annuity of $1,000,000, payable as $50,000 a year for 20 years without interest. Exact details of annuity are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) for annuity as of 7/2/12 was $763,635; OR
